PFC3 CERTIFIED
ENDORSED COACH
Patricia Hope Carman
My name is Pat Carman, and I was born and raised in Minnesota but now call Western Washington home. I am a proud mother of two grown sons, both married, and a grandmother of four. Family remains at the heart of everything I do, and my desire to stay active and engaged in their lives and milestones continues to inspire my personal health journey. I am honored to be recognized as a PFC3 Endorsed Nutrition Lifestyle Coach, a role that reflects my commitment to lifelong learning and my passion for helping others live healthier lives.
At 65, I finally found a solution that wasnât a dietâit was a lifestyle. I balanced my blood sugar, gained energy, and ditched the seat belt extender. Now I coach othersâespecially fellow grandparentsâwho are ready to stop dieting and start living fully, one simple habit at a time.Â
My professional background is diverse and deeply rooted in service. I spent many years working for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DODDS) as a school secretary while my husband served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. After returning to the United States, I transitioned into the healthcare field, becoming a certified Home Care Aide (HCA) and certified nursing assistant (CNA). I have cared deeply for the clients I have served in this way.
My personal and spiritual growth are very important to me. I completed two years of study through the School of Encounter Ministry and am a Third Order Oblate of St. Benedict at Mount Angel Abbey in Oregon.
Since beginning the Disruption Nutrition lifestyle journey in August 2022, I embraced two foundational principles: fueling the body through proper nutrition and strengthening mindset through identity. These pillars have not only transformed my own life but have also shaped my mission moving forward. This transformation led me to become a certified PFC3 coach in fall 2024 because of my desire to help others do the same.
As a PFC3 certified coach, I am passionate about guiding others toward a science-based, sustainable approach to nutritionâone that supports long-term health and can be embraced by the entire family. I have been through this journey personally, which gives me deeper compassion and insight into helping others.
