My life consisted of diet after diet. I was never happy with my weight, and I struggled my entire life—even as a child. My sister will tell you I was always on a diet when we were kids.

I tried restricting calories, weight loss supplements, commercial diets, and other plans that provided recipes. Sure, they helped me lose some weight. However, as soon as I returned to my normal way of eating, the weight came back. I was a textbook yo-yo dieter. I would tell myself, “I will never get back to that weight again,” but it always did. I knew this wasn’t a way to live, but I didn’t know a better way.

As someone who was always on a diet, I often felt isolated. While following a shake diet, I felt embarrassed to eat lunch with anyone. It seemed like no one else around me was dieting, which made me even more self-conscious about my own efforts. 

To avoid the discomfort, I spent my lunch hours alone—going for a drive and having my shake before returning to work.

The last program I tried was essentially a detailed meal plan. I have never enjoyed making elaborate dishes; my preference has always been simple, quick meals. However, this plan required preparing salads with up to fifteen ingredients, along with other time-consuming recipes. I followed it as best I could, but eventually I burned out. It simply wasn’t sustainable for me long term.

I knew I needed an approach that was easy to follow, sustainable, and—most importantly—enjoyable. Otherwise, it would become just another failed attempt like so many before it.

One evening, while relaxing at home and scrolling through social media, something caught my attention. At first, it looked like just another diet plan. Despite my skepticism, the concept intrigued me enough to keep reading. When I learned that the PFC3 program is science-based, teaches blood sugar balance, and offers food freedom, I had to know more.
