Hi, I’m Coach Steph — and I’m here to help you feel stronger, healthier, and more confident than ever. As a Certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach, and Nutritionist, I bring passion, energy, and real-life experience to every client I work with. I’m living proof that it’s never too late to take control of your health — and love the way you look and feel.

In my early 40s, after years of staying active while balancing work, family, and life, I suddenly found myself stuck at a desk, stressed out, and 25 pounds heavier. I felt tired, overwhelmed, and out of touch with myself.

That’s when a friend invited me to a boot camp — and everything changed.

I rediscovered my energy, lost over 30 pounds, transformed my body, and reignited my passion for fitness. That transformation inspired me to help others do the same.

Since 2012, I’ve coached hundreds of clients — both in-person and online — guiding them through simple, sustainable changes in fitness and nutrition that lead to lasting results.

In 2014, I founded Train Strong Fit, which has since grown into a thriving community with two gym locations and an expanding online coaching program.

“From my very first personal training session (post baby 2 in a body I was very unfamiliar with), Coach Steph's non-judgmental and positive approach made me feel completely at ease. My goal at the time was to be comfortable in my new body. Coach Steph tailored each workout to fit my needs and goals. After my first round of training with her I was once again comfortable in my body.

Fast forward 2 years, a ton of work travel, 20 plus pounds, and a hurting knee, part of me hesitated to return due to personal judgement/disappointment. Upon returning, her genuinely uplifting personality made it easy to get over myself and get back to work. There's never any judgement over where I am in the moment only focus on our end goal which is exactly what I need.

Okay, on to more really good stuff! What I love most, Coach Steph doesn't just guide me through exercises, she explains the form so I know what I should be paying attention to. Why work out and not do it to gain maximum benefit? With my knee she knew how best to strengthen it and adjusts exercises to protect it. Okay yes she is positive and encouraging but don't make the assumption of all rainbows and cushy clouds when it comes to fitness :). Coach Steph kicks my butt in the best possible way, pushing me to achieve more than I thought was possible. Her infectious positivity and unwavering belief in my potential are game changers for my fitness journey.

Let's talk food or not talk food. Do I eat the most healthy?...No. Is this a struggle?...yes. Does Steph focus on this?...When it is right. I am amazed at her natural ability to know when I am ready and when I am not. She throws in education, she helps me learn gradually while celebrating small triumphs. Once I make the commitment to make long-term lifestyle changes in the food category, Coach Steph will be there to support me, and until then she is busy planting all the necessary knowledge seeds and watering them so I can continue this growth. I may grow how like a cacti, but I am still growing thanks to Coach Steph's approach!

Lastly, Coach Steph's flexibility and adaptability are top notch. My travel schedule can be last minute. So we have recently introduced virtual sessions which has allowed me to continue training without disruption!

“Hi my name is Cathy and I am 63 years old. Normally I would not be giving out my age but, I feel it is necessary to show that it is never too late to start. I first started with TSF two years ago with a challenge. I was not very successful with that one. I, however, did not realize that your exercise and meals work hand and hand. As a result I had very little results. Fast forward to this last challenge, which I was determined to crush. I not only lost 11 pounds but also inches all over my body. When I look at pictures of my before and after shots, I am amazed. I finally fell into a regular work out schedule and learned to meal prep my lunches which holds me accountable on my food intake. The nutrition part is what I was missing! I definitely have more energy while working out as well as during the day. I certainly can't say enough good things about Coach Steph, she is very supportive of anything you want to accomplish health wise whether it be in the gym or outside the gym.
